Lowville, NY, welcomes you!  We're located on the Mill Creek River between the Black River Valley, the foothills of the Adirondacks and Tug Hill Plateau.   The settlement of Lowville began in 1797, under Silas Stow.  It currently has a population of around 3,500. 

Lowville Academy and Central School serves around 1,440 students from kindergarten through grade 12.
